Cattleya didn't use her sword, despite how ironic it'd be to kill them with their loot. She learnt from fighting in the dungeon that such a long weapon wouldn't have enough mobility to attack inside narrow corridors.
However she made up for it in sheer brutality and skill, easily slashing through their numbers like butter. You had the suspicion she didn't particularly like goblins...
Gerty lead the clankers once again, effectively combining her Holy Spear ability with the clankers' offensive. Goblins with guns shot at her, but Gerty was able to deflect them with her spear. It was completely overpowered bullshit.
You, Mel, and Herta either just picked off goblins in the backline or killed any that tried to sneak up on your party.
The radio came to life. "Sir," It was Ruby. "There were some goblins whose only weapons were smoking torches. They tried to throw them into the cave. No need to worry, your machines made quick work of them." Were they trying to smoke you out?
"They're trying to choke us in here!" Mel voiced your thoughts. "Even though it'll kill their own too."
"We can't lose any time." Gerty said confidently. She waited for your command, and you gave her the go ahead.
The fighting had long since stopped, but none put their guard down. As you all waded through the underground system, things got quiet. You couldn't say why, but something was wrong. Mel seemed to share that feeling too, looking around like she was expecting to hear something while she got more and more unnerved.
But these thoughts are broken by a distant roar. Goblins clad in armor and wielding cruel looking weapons charge at your group with more speed than you'd like. Thankfully you're quick reaction is able to set up an Aether Wire, slicing most of them. The rest of the girls kill them, but shockingly a few of the goblin fighters manage to tear apart a clanker in the chaos.
There is a place after the tunnel that winds down which gives you 'boss room' vibes. And just as expected in the middle of it was an orc, sitting on a throne of bones. Pillars surround the arena, holding up everything in place. Cattleya was the tallest member of the party, but she was dwarfed by the giant creature by at least a few heads.
"Adventurers?" He sniffs the air as he looks at your wives. "Old. Used up."
"HEY! I'm only 22!" Bertha shouts indignantly.
"Yeah! We're all still in our primes!" Herta exclaims soon after. You all look at the ancient goddess. "What?"
"Me eaten worse." The orc looks at the clankers, then at you. "Machines. Savant... WEAK! Easy! Give Oghlurk real challenge!" He laughs. You think he's going too keep talking, but you don't have the patience to listen to an anime villain's broken-worded monologue about how you'll die and he'll rape your wives or whatever.
