Before anyone could make a move on you, you rolled back onto your hands and feet and sprang up into the air, out of anyone’s reach. Their eyes and hands chased after you with malicious intent, But Flint appeared to be trying his very best to keep them all in check. He might’ve been able to subdue the entire room if he had enough mass to work with, but you both had to play the cards you were dealt.
In this particular situation, you felt it best to pursue the Ringmaster and snatch that hat away from him. You weren’t entirely sure if destroying it would break these people out of their trances, but you figured that everyone would be much better off if it were in your hands instead of his.
<span class="mu-r">“Keep these people busy! I’m going after the head honcho.”</span> you declared, swinging down towards where the circus troupe disappeared behind the curtains.
<span class="mu-g">"Can we switch jobs? Mine is wearing me down in more ways than one!"</span> Flint complained, his body stretching out multiple directions in an effort to wrangle the audience. Every now and again, they'd take a swipe at his head in an effort to incapacitate him, only for it to fold in on itself and reform an instant later.
He could've easily solidified the sand and deflected their attacks, but that plan ran the risk of having the hypnotized masses becoming from their own attacks. Soft, pliable sand hurt a lot less than solid concrete, after all.
What are your plans for dealing with these guys?
>Attempt to tail them in secret until you can find an opportunity to ambush their leader.>Hijack their elephant and use him to take them out.>Fill the area with web grenades and disable some of the more meddlesome members of their troupe.>Use your hidden guns to shoot that stupid hat off of the Ringmaster’s head!>Fall into the rhythm that Callisto’s been trying to drill into you.
