With heavy steps, she approaches her locker, and her purse falls out once it's open. The nurse chuckles at this misfortune, being careless snapped her out of her bad mood. As she’s about to return it inside, a little Johnny buddy sits on what was the purse’s place seconds ago.
Eyes wide open, Kata makes a double-take. “If only you were the real thing...” The nurse then realizes, he *can* turn invisible. “Handsome, are you around? You know you can’t hide your flame from me.” But gets no response.
With her eyes back on the locker, she notices the little Johnny buddy carrying a letter that reads ‘our date is fast approaching.’
Nurse Calamity’s smile touches both extremes of her rosy face cheeks. “Sorry, mini-handsome, I spoke too soon, didn’t I?” She pinches the plushy’s face, she’ll keep him around…
>[Meanwhile at Katastrophic Calamity’s apartment…]Mysterious Calamity is waiting for the commotion attached to her escape to die down. It’s dangerous if she decides to go back to her regular routine. Her Uncle and Cousin advised her to spend the day locked up here. She has a jolly time when her family is around! But when they aren’t around, she resorts to watching TV, or taking a peek at a novel…
“Ah, to be locked away once more. At least the book selection here is to my liking…” Misty puts down the last book of her (And Kata’s) favorite childhood series. Her eyes drift back to the television, there to make some noise rather than entertain. A romantic scene plays out. “Hate to say it, but I’m more lonely than bored… I’m resorting to talking to myself. Bad habits never die, as they say.” Her laugh echoes through the empty apartment.
Then she notices by her side, a friendly face in the form of a plushy holding a note.
“Katastrophic, you and your sense of humor.” Misty chuckles lightheartedly. This duo always manages to cheer the other up, but… “How did you get here, handsome little buddy?” Misty grabs the Johnny Plushy as she wonders what trick her cousin pulled. It wasn’t here before. “This note…”
Misty realizes the penmanship belongs to someone else… It reads ‘Let’s keep each other’s company!’
“Tststsststs, to play along with her whims, he’s such a gentleman.” Misty puts the plushy on her lap. “Let’s stay together then…”
Misty and Johnny Plushy will marathon a bunch of movies together...
