You glance over to Squid, who's pouting in sheer envy.
"How did it feel?" She asks.
"Really good, actually." You say, unable to bring yourself to lie. "Super soft."
She groans and gets to her feet.
"Do you think you can convince him to let me feel it? Please? Please?"
"I don't think he'll be up for that. Where are you going?"
"To let Wind know that he's awake. I called you guys first, after all. He's prety interested in what this Cutemon has to offer."
She steps away with ToyAgumon, who still looks paranoid that she's going to try and lunge for those long ears. You glance back to Cutemon, who's being helped to his feet by his own subordinate. Phascomon whispers softly to you.
<span class="mu-s">"He can help Bella out, for sure. But remember what we talked about. You think he's going to let him go so easily?"</span>
You're not sure.
>Try and convince Cutemon to fix up Bella now, so you can get him out of here and back to the Hospital. You'll have to annoy him a bit, but you feel like you've got enough goodwill to be a little demanding. You'll have to clash with him directly with the force of your personality. Or, at least, get Phascomon to do it.
>Go for a more detached route. Explain to Cutemon that these guys may want to keep him here, and that it's in his best interest to help Bella out right now. If you can give him this clear reason, he might be more likely to do it. However, this could backfire. Reputation and respect seems extremely important to this guy. If he knows that they might seek to exploit him, he may object to treating Bella in protest.
>Let it be. Allow Cutemon to get his rest, and then see how things shape up when Wind is back. You don't distrust them to the point where you're going to sabotage relations between them and Cutemon. Maybe they'll be reasonable about it after all.
