You've been neglecting anything but eating, sleeping, and going to work for your next few shifts- only clocking in the basic hours just for your basic expenses. There is a new chapter to your life about to unfold- though you don't know what it is just yet.
But while at work the next day, you receive a visit from a familiar face. You didn't recognize her at first without her makeup and her outfit- it's Samantha again, this time looking much more "normal" in her clothes. She's wearing a hat, clearly still shaken from her first encounter.

It seems she sees right thru you.
<span class="mu-b">"Please Rod. I have a bad feeling... you aren't going to go crazy and become obsessed with it, are you?"</span>

<span class="mu-b">"You need to leave that thing alone before it consumes you. Maybe... I just thought maybe this is where all the unexplained missing people cases come from. Tunnels opening up and luring them in by creating whatever they imagine-"</span>

Violently, you shush her. It's not that she's insulting the tunnel that offends you, it's that anything she says could put thoughts into your head- lingering things that color your perception about the tunnel. Or is she just trying to scare you away to take it away from you?
<span class="mu-b">"Rod... I'm worried. Promise me you won't go back in."</span>
You don't want to blow her off, but at the same time... what are you supposed to say? It's too enticing. You have to know the truth of the mystery now. You could just lie, but would that weigh too heavily on your conscious?
