You take hold of Yuki's wrists and free yourself of both his grip and gaze. "I know what it is you seek but I cannot grant it. I <span class="mu-i">do not know who killed the women</span>".
Yuki is stunned, but only for a moment. Nothing ever seems to stop his momentum for long. He lets out a small sigh and a smile returns to his face. "You are beyond stubborn swordsman, perhaps that's why I have grown to enjoy your company so thoroughly."
With your hands busy restraining Yuki's wrists, you find yourself surprisingly vulnerable to a counter attack. There is nothing stopping Yuki from bringing his body dangerously close to your own. His lips are soft and hungry, his body is pale and firm. Your short time to react to his aggression, and your cognitive dissonance over what you want, gives him further opening. He slowly brushes his lips against your neck. His breath makes your hairs stand on end, and you become aware of beating heart. Up and along your cheek, his lips make their way to whisper into your ear. "After all, that trait remind me so much of myself!"
His laugh is a jovial one, as he tosses himself backwards into the water. His gambit to throw you off balance, succeeded. Now aware that you are simply the target of Yuki's teasing, you feel the need to save face. You once again set to leave the bath.
"You may be in the mood for games, but I am not. You don't have the accusation of murder on your head, tell me how are you so sure that I am innocent."
"I worry if I once again repeat the same mantra, you will jump back into this pool and successfully drown me this time. In a world of liars, one gets to decide his own truth. You wish it to be true, so let it be so. If you cannot transfer the deed onto someone else, then this matter will simply go no further. As I doubt any real evidence will ever be uncovered."
"Thats it then? Are are simply going to let the matter lay? Do you choose what matters are below your station?"
"I believe that the guilty party will soon have much bigger problems then the death of a single girl. Besides, I believe you to be a noble man. If I have miscalculated and one day you recall that you ARE truly responsible for a murder, then you will surly commit harakiri. Either way, justice will ultimately be served. It is an important part of my profession to know how to priorities, and there seems to be a never ending wave of things that need doing."
With nothing left to say you start to towel off and leave.
"Don't wander off too far swordsman, we will be leaving shortly. I will need you to protect me soon, and there is none here I trust more then you. "
Like it or not, Yuki has cultivated a seed in your chest. You felt it react strongly to his proximity, perhaps his teasing was a silent attempt to see how far its roots went. You must be weary that it does not reach your brain.
