Even Emil who seems to have bought your story about some necromancer or external threat of undead. So then, a bothersome wasted effort but you can stomp back up the sloping cliffside and navigate your way farther along the coast a ways.
At least enough till there's some distance between you all and the cove such that the humans aren't fearing for their lives, of being attacked by undead crawling out of the sea during the night. Though you don't care to go for too long or two far, being on land after all, eventually you can find a forest that runs up along the cliffs and is in sight of the sea.
Although in a pinch you won't be able to easily reach the sea itself, but you don't expect that to be a problem.
<span class="mu-s">"You think a fire is a good idea saracen?"</span>
<span class="mu-b">"What does it matter? Anyone or anything who sees me will run away."</span>
A decent spot among the trees, not too deep into the forest but such that any passerby wouldn't notice you from a distance. Although Ubaid getting a fire going wouldn't help with going unnoticed, but you welcome the warmth and light... mainly because you'd love to try some "cooked" food again, after last night. So used to eating things raw, it's a peculiar and curious thing these humans do with their food and fire. Before you left the shallows after disposing of the zombies, you made sure to chug down a huge amount of water to tide you over, and in the process gulped down a good deal of fish.
Not remotely enough to sate your growing hunger, but enough that you can at least enjoy them cooked. After you churn your gut and cough a bunch of them up near the fire.
<span class="mu-s">"-eugh! We need to be privy to that?"</span> Farhana speaks what the others are thinking.
<span class="mu-b">"I am sharing with you all. If you're not hungry then don't eat, I don't think the fire cares."</span>
You awkwardly set about trying to stab fish with sticks and put them in the fire, imitation of what you saw the humans doing before. As a first time effort though, and your huge hands and fingers you make a right mess of it. Seeing this and faced with hunger otherwise, Emil and Ubaid eventually get over their disgust and make a better effort of cooking the stomach-glistened fish for all of you. Except Farhana that is who remains disgusted, but for her Ubaid gives the rations he brought with his saddlebag, and between the humans he also has a waterskin.
