D-Company's district sounds like it would be the best one to head to next. Seath's probably the highest priority target out of all of them and hey! It'll give Benjamin and Kiara a chance to see some anomalies!
Seath does work at D-Corp Containment facility so even if it's not directly related to your mission, you could always check up on some cool anomalies.
You're a bit worried about how Max is going to handle herself if all of the bad stuff you heard about their District and Company is accurate. She freaks out pretty easily when shit gets serious so you hope the others can keep her wrangled in. Can't blame her too much given her upbringing though...
[UNSTABLE] HEH. MAYBE WE SHOULD JOIN THAT SEX CULT SYNDICATE NOT LIKE WE'RE GETTING ANY ACTION WITH ANY OF OUR ASSOCIATES.
...Best to push that thought out of your mind.
"Hey! I'll be right back! Gotta grab something real quick!" Kiara separates from the group; You assume she's probably getting whatever implants and upgrades she bargained out of Daquan. Not like your group has anything better to do since you still have to wait in line. Like fucking plebs.
Molly easily pays for one of this station's most prized services: First Class Express. With your connections with G-Corp and Q-Corp keeping an eye on how this station operates, you can trust that she'll get home safely. She boards onto the train without further issue and bam! She's no longer your obligation to watch after.
>MANDATORY FOXTROTS RESCUED: 1/4!
Kiara returns right as your group obtains the six tickets necessary to get to D-Company. Even with a Krakatoa in your party and so much corporate power, you still have to deal with this nonsense. Feh. Something's off about how Kiara looks now that takes you a long while to put a finger on.
You place your hand on the faux-skin covered arm. It's warm to the touch now. Too warm for an android.
"Yeah, lil' old side effect from the new upgrade I got. I guess you could say I have a heart of flesh now!"
"D-don't ya mean heart of gold?"
Kiara smiles at Clover without bothering to answer his question. "Let's say it's best I don't show you it. Long story short, EMPs don't affect me now!"
"Ooo! I wish to see what improvement you got! As a former Sanitation Technician I can't imagine it can be that bad-"
Max and Benjamin mime a slashing motion across their necks. Everyone gets the hint to not pry further.
Kiara does shove a new implant into your hands. It's a small square piece of light purple metal and cyan plastic that you assume is a brain chip of some sort. When you show it to Benjamin, he nods and agrees with your initial assessment. You worry about how he's going to install THIS in the field but...you can probably make it work.
>KIARA now has a BACKUP POWER SOURCE! You obtain the DEVOTED WORKER IMPLANT to install into someone later!
That's when your train arrives. You can only hope that Seath, being an adult, will be more helpful whenever you find him.
