Exiting the Stone Forest was long awaited, because from there, the trip would be far easier. There were sky ferries operated both as Kingdom sanctioned services and independently by various merchants. A sky ferry to the Village of Cats was an obvious choice, although, the ferryman was not cleared to land in that air space, due to it being a regulated zone. The best they could wish for was a transit stop outside the village limit.
It was fine by them. The rest of the way could be walked easily, and already, Seannsa was enthusing them with tales of how the grub and hospitality in her village was. The Village of Mao Ying was its official name.
Yet... when they arrived... it was less than hospitable. It was quiet.
