“… The time has arrived. Father, grant me the wisdom to say the right words.”
You feel something warm and heavy leaving your chest. It's the same bird that entered you when Anu granted you his boon... wait! It's taking a new shape! Daitza, Luna, Bark and you stay away from the bird, which glows with a blinding light, rendering you unable to see past it. You hang on a few seconds...
When the intensity of the light wears down, your eyes meet with a nighindescribable creature, similar to Anu in its mysterious looks. A birdlike entity that is at least twice as tall as you, possessing eight wings, eleven eyes, and a strange beak extending from what you think is its jaw. But what is most surprising is the sheer amount of power... and *authority* it radiates. You and your pal can't get your eyes off this... this holy monster.
"Hawkodesh, is that... is that you?! So THAT’S your true form?”
Luna, however, remains unimpressed. “Ah, so you are the envoy of the Sun God. The same deity who let the dwarves do as they wish with my gnolls! The same who created the Devils that manipulate my followers into committing atrocities in exchange of power! You WILL answer my questions - I will not let you leave until you do!”
Hawkodesh speaks with a powerful, albeit calm and stern voice, “DO YOU NOT REMEMBER ME?”
“Huh?" The forest spirit is confused. "What... what do you mean?!"
“NOT EVEN A FAINT REMINISCIENCE?... NOT EVEN A SLIGHT SENSATION OF A MEMORY TRYING TO RESURFACE AS YOUR GAZE MEETS WITH MINE?"
“What are you- what are you TALKING about?! This is the first time I see you, bird! Speak clearly!”
Hawkodesh remains silent. This incurs great frustration in the forest spirit. “SPEAK! Who are you?! Why am I supposed to know *anything* about you?! Share your knowledge, or I will get it by force! I, the goddess of the forest, the woods incarnated, demand an answer!”
“… NO, LUNA. YOU ARE NEITHER THE FOREST NOR A GODDESS. YOU *THINK* YOU ARE."
“W-what?..." Luna's eyes pop out of her face. "What are you... what is this madness you're spouting?! Of COURSE I am! How dare you say that to my face? How DARE you deny my divine nature?!”
The transformed Hawkodesh closes his eleven eyes, all except the one on his forehead. “SO STUBBORN AND ILL-MANNERED... YOU ARE JUST LIKE MY FATHER DESCRIBED, IT IS AS I SAID, LUNA. THE WOODS, YOU ARE NOT. YOU HAVE BEEN LIVING A LIE FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS. THE TRUTH ABOUT YOU IS THIS..."
