>LET HIM BUT TELL HIM TO HIDE THE BODY
You flinch when you recall the sickening crack of someone's skull being pulverized. You regret turning around to look at the body again. If you didn't know any better, you thought the head was just GONE.
You make sure to stand in front of it so Benjamin can't see it. You glance over at Lex before nodding towards the corpse. "Hide that. PLEASE."
He gets the message, though you can tell he didn't regret doing it for a second. Blood and brain matter drip onto the floor, bits clinging to his brass knuckles.
He leaves you alone with Benjamin as he starts dragging the body away. You can only hope he manages to get it done before you have to leave with Benjamin.
"So!" "So?"
"Do you mind leaving me alone? I really don't want to be disappoint my friends, you know?" The brain damaged pharmacist flashes a goofy smile. "Seriously, we can talk later."
You might just have to trick him into following you but due to Lex dealing with the body, you have to burn a bit of time. You clear your throat. Okay, how to start?
"Look. I, uh." You rub the back of your neck. "I actually came to you for help, if you could believe that." You flash your best smile. Given how he flinches, it probably doesn't look that friendly.
"I'm a Cleaner, you see." You point at yourself. "And, well, due to certain reasons...I need medication." You're honestly glad that Lex isn't hearing this. You rather not have your allies know about your 'issues'.
Benjamin deflates a bit upon hearing your plea. "Oh. Another Cleaner? Ahaha! Hah. Ha." He turns around. He begins stirring something in one of his flasks. "Mind if I ask why?"
"...Mental issues?" You shrug. It's the truth but you rather not go into detail about it.
"Well, miss, I can't really give you anything without a prescription but, well! I can't ignore someone in need. I'll be sure to get you your medication once my friends are done with me." He yammers on and on. Well, he seems a bit more receptive to you but that barely made him budge.
>BODY HIDING CHECK: 74. MAJOR SUCCESS. DIDN'T TAKE LONG.
Before you even know it, Lex is back. You look around to see where he hid the body. Since you can't see it at first glance he probably did a good enough job actually hiding it.
You nod at him to start leading Benjamin over to the exit. You might need to just grab him and run if your next trump card doesn't work. He places a hand on Benjamin's back and starts pushing him to follow with the two of you. The pharmacist yelps a bit but doesn't seem to resist at first.
"Well, look, we really need you to come with. And I think I got a way to get you to drop your 'friends' behind." You try flashing a more confident and less teeth gnashing smile. Given how your two friends didn't flinch? You're improving.
"Well, miss! I can respect your moxie but I really don't know what you could offer me that my dear friends haven't! They did say I could keep my life if I worked!"
