Reminds me, we really do need to try and find someone to tutor us with battle magic again. I doubt Scorpy-boy has anywhere close to Lily's bonus but he is also older than us, ergo more magically powerful, and comes from a family with both dark artifacts in a vault and a history of knowing dark magic spells. He is probably at least as good at us with potions and better at charms. Probably closes that gap a bit, since a real fight won't be like battle class. Fucker could bring all the potions he wants to buy and all the magic items he could steal from Daddy with him.
