Blood and death soak the sands n'eath the hive, the whole mountain teems with the violence of war above and below, an anti hill under siege, exaggerated to such massive proportions yet still no different than were it but a few inches high.
>>6032962Wandering o'er this bloody battlefield, a winged Princeling surveys for foes, for threats, but spot something else. Something neither termite, nor ant, nor lumbering dinosaur. Something which walks upon two legs, yet has only two limbs, and seemingly no exoskeleton. Fleshy things, yet they wear clothes, and his antennae sense the thrum of power in the air.
The prince seeks the nearest of them, weary yet he must. For the Termite Khanate had opened their eyes that there is indeed more intelligence to this world than themselves, and in a very bloody way indeed. If there were other intelligent lifeforms out there besides ant and termite, he has a duty to find out: be they friend or foe. Salvation or our doom.
The prince flies overhead, telegraphing his presence visibly, before landing a distance from them. He plants his spear to the earth upside down, a symbol of non-aggression, and waves his antennae. Through these it speaks not with mandibles, but with magic, that would be easily discernable to any mage.
"I am emissary of the Imperia of Ant, and her Majesty the Empress. Who are thou, whoms't we hath yet not seen?"
