Looks like the minimum ad buy is for $20 USD but that money can probably stretch pretty far, depending on the bidding environment for the particular board. Unfortunately, the platform doesn't tell you what you're bidding against, I think you have to fund the account and submit your proposal to find out if you "win" the bid. Maybe if your proposal is rejected, the platform tells you what the current winning bid is?
Also, you can only pick one ad at a time, apparently - banner header, banner footer, mobile header, mobile footer.
That being said, looks like the minimum bid is 5 cents per 1,000 "impressions" and you do have the ability to set some controls about how many days you want the ad to run, and how many times you want the same person to view the ad. I can't imagine that the less-frequented boards are bidding at 10x the minimum bid, so it's probably pretty cheap.
So basically - it's $20 for an anon to chip and help run an ad.
