Schala hesitated for just a moment before she answered. "Um, no, it was configured to mimic a real day. It will gradually cycle through twilight, darkness and daybreak before returning to its greatest brightness and repeating on a set frequency."
"You've thought of everything. You're brilliant!" you gave her a wide smile and cheerfully complimented her.
She avoided your gaze and craned her neck to look up and sideways, in a movement that only accentuated its slenderness. "No, I'm... you don't really... um... you might need some powdered silver to mix with the chalk, for when you decide to perform your ritual. It should enhance its effectiveness."
"Why is that?" Lucca leaned forward and regarded Schala with eyes burning with curiosity.
Schala took a small, anxious step back and her eyes darted left and right. "Um... silver is associated with Shadow, so..."
At that moment, Marle intervened and grabbed Schala's hand. "Come on! We should get that powder now if you're going to need it for your ritual. Let's go ask Mr. Whitwell." she told your love and began pulling her to the side without resistance. You and Chrono simultaneously moved to follow them, but Marle raised her hand to stop you. "No need for all of us to go together. Me and Schala can do this by ourselves, right Schala?"
The two girls exchanged a glance. "Um... yes, that's right. Don't worry my love, we'll be back soon." she reassured you.
"Then it's settled! We'll meet you all at the Dome's entrance. If there's something else you want to do in the Dome before we leave, now's your last chance!" Marle waved and resumed pulling Schala, far less forcefully than before.
The group was unexpectedly getting split again. Where would you go?
>Insist on going with Schala and Marle to Mr. Whitwell, against their objections.
>Wait for them at the entrance, with Chrono and Lucca.
>There's actually one more thing you want to do before you leave the Dome. (What?)
>Other (Write-in)
