The message is pretty self evident: The cave is stable, so you can dig safely. This message thus delivered, Aggron starts digging out the ceiling more, giving you more rocks to fill the hole in the floor, with, while simultaneously giving you more headspace and allowing you to stand taller.
Syurm pauses and chitters irately at Aggron as she comes back from securing another support, only for Aggron to silence her with a grunt before growling back in a very pointed, but by the tone, reasonable fashion.
There's silence for a long moment before Syurm subsides and gets back to bracing the main chamber with Latias.
By the time Aggron is done with the ceiling, the chasm is only about half full, prompting you to go to the walls and have Kay O-o use Rock Smash, prompting Aggron to watch intently as Kay O-o knocks chunks out of the wall before after about three tries, reducing a fairly large chunk of the wall to rubble and freeing up more room.
After this display, Aggron steps up and mimics Kay O-o's movements, knocking out another section before moving over to the other side and repeating the process. By the time it's done, the entrance cave has roughly doubled in size and you have all the debris necessary to fill the chasm fully, before you resecure the platform.
It's actually a pretty profitable endeavor as well, considering all the tumblestone you unearthed during the digging.
Eventually, Aggron nods with satisfaction, before giving a huge yawn and lumbering out of the cave and back the way it came.
