A few hours later, you're feeling the cool ocean breeze rush through your hair as you shoot across the world. It's just you and Azalea, with your two other best friends still training with their respective masters on the Lookout. The journey was nice, but admittedly the Nimbus was a little less tolerant of you than before - your mind kept wandering to certain things done not too long ago, and that issue was only compounded by your oldest-friend-turned-girlfriend teasing you about it. You're starting to suspect that she thinks it's funny when you fall through the prudish cloud, but thankfully enough for you the one time you got dunked in the sea did wonders for keeping your mind off of it for the rest of the trip.
Cross referencing the journal that Baba gave you with local landmarks, you think you spot your destination - it looks like a completely ordinary, if uninhabited, island. There's a plethora of exotic trees coating the majority of the isle, obscuring the true nature of your destination. According to Baba, you had to enter the forest from a specific location: a statue with an open mouth that you had to walk through. Once you do so, you'll technically be in a place that exists between Earth and the Otherworld, with all the special properties one can come to expect from a place like that. She doesn't elaborate on what those properties actually ARE, but you can forgive that, because she at least made some surprisingly good drawings of the Paradise Herbs you're looking for.
You circle the forests a few times before you finally spot a hint of stone, so you bring the nimbus around to that side of the island and hop off of it. You take the time to stretch just a bit before you head inside the untamed jungle, only having to walk for a few minutes before you come upon the massive stonework representing a creature you've never seen. Without hesitation, you step through its mouth and pass the threshold you're meant to, Azalea fluttering right beside you and glancing around curiously.
"Ohhh, this feels kind of familiar! We fairies have a few places like this, little cracks you can slip through if you know the right path. Most of the time, we use it for the sake of travel or hiding from people, but I suppose using it as a special garden makes sense too! I wonder if any Fairies made this?" She wonders aloud, causing you to turn and stare at her.
"Travel? What, you can get to places faster through those cracks?" You ask, getting an enthusiastic nod in return from her.
"Yep! It's super convenient. Wait a minute...you don't know about them? I thought you were walking past them on purpose!" She suddenly realizes, making you smack your face.
"I can't believe we could have been travelling quicker this whole time. Not that it matters anymore thanks to the nimbus, but...that was a LOT of walking, back in the day." You lament, earning a snicker from Azalea.
