Princeps don't form noble blood lines and dynasties whom their sons grow up to be. Maybe one in ten million even qualify for the trials, and then out of those scarcely any of them survive.
They aren't agile, they don't need to be sleek and smooth. Yes, decorate them as you would an Imperator with all the gold trim and cathedralisms you wish, but for Machine God's sake don't make them pretend to be knights!
