The necklace is accepted by Prudigal of the Bupac, the pre-eminent family of the Protavic people. This distant descendant of great Glavolan acknowledges the friendship offered by the stone men and declares that the beast-bringers shall reciprocate. This announcement earns cheers from the Protavic and the Rodac alike, while the envoys from the fire-worshipping tribes frown at each other. This is not what they had hoped for.
Once the gift-giving is out of the way, the celebration winds down for the night and the various guests retire to rest. Dawn comes without incident and the representatives of the other tribe say their farewells and depart from Protavic territory. They leave with full bellies and in the case of the tree-dwellers, they return to their homes with a collection of birch bark scrolls, full of black and red paintings that depict all of the revelry that occurred. The feast has come to an end and time shall tell whether it has had much of an impact on our tribe's diplomacy. All that the beast-bringers know for sure is that it had an impact on their stockpile.
>The civilisation gets +0.1 Culture.
>The civilisation gets -10 Prosperity.
Less than a week after their envoys cross the river that serves as a border between Protavic land and theirs, the Scagravic return the hostages that were given to them. Some of our tribespeople are still displeased by the fact that hostages were given at all, but most of them are just relieved that their loved ones are back.

A generation passes.
With the passage of time, the impact of the great feast becomes clear.
The relationship between the Protavic people and the Drocravic tribe suffered. Despite our tribe's hospitality, they ultimately left with a poor impression of the beast-bringers. Though the light-bringers have not outright banned trade with the Protavic people, it is a rare thing these days – they view members of our clan as greedy and manipulative.
The relationship between the Protavic people and the Bodravic tribe has not changed. Though the wood-burners were somewhat upset by the treatment of the Drocravic and our tribe's friendship with the stone men, this was balanced out by the quality of the feast. The beast-bringers maintain a cordial relationship with the Bodravic and trade regularly with them.
The relationship between the Protavic people and the Scagravic tribe has improved. Previously they were hostile towards the beast-bringers, but now the tree-dwellers seem to tolerate our tribe as their neighbours. They even allow our traders to pass through the territory and occasionally indulge in a little bartering themselves.
