TalOS was to call a vote, but another ping came up. With a thought he had it answered, Magos 3KL4R rising from his seat, “I wish to thank the esteemed Arch Magi of Lucius for bringing such a brilliant solution, but that is only a solution for the issue at hand. We cannot allow future happenings to occur lest we enter into negative integers.”
“If we are to lower the price and send troops, then it will be too costly.” K0LT pointed out as she spoke the truth in the situation.
It seemed an issue was about to be discussed, maybe a bartering in the amount of funds to be allocated to what, but instead TalOS had a ping from the room. With a raising of his hand conversation stopped and he called out, “Duke Kandel of House Borgius, you may speak.”
“Thank you, Fabricator General.” He answered as he gave a small smile, “On Dutonis, those who tended to the Fallen god’s Cathedrals were aware of the same issue you speak of today. Thus it was the duty of select Priests to watch out for heretics and witches alike. I wish to propose the same solution here.”
That was enough to give the Priests pause to think. TalOS though happily took it up, “What you propose is very reasonable. There are already Priests upon these planets, but the one you speak of is tasked with ridding the worlds of heresy wherever it appears.”
“And the witches. I have heard rumors of these worlds having thousands of covens, they must be rooted out if we are to be divine and just.”
That was enough for conversation to be sparked. The talk of Witches and Covens quickly started to spread like wildfire across the people who did not know the full story. If TalOS was correct, they were likely mistaking Witches and Covens as the clubs that populated almost every other street of the planets.
Such places, to even Young Knights, are completely terrifying and deserve to be purged.
“I believe that would be a reasonable compromise?” Pushed forward 3KL4R towards the Nobles.
The nobleman looked upon him for a moment, who had his word, “If it is just a Priest and his cohort, a couple per planet, then we will accept it. Know that their authority will be limited but we know the need for people like them.”
“Good, good!” TalOS announced as a compromise was reached, “Now, we may vote.”
