You are especially interested in reading about the Cathagi view of major events in Canton history, having some notion that it is very likely not in keeping with your people’s history books. But the source material that would best serve to cast some light on that are, of course, written in Cathagi. If there is some Cantonian historian’s recounting of the Cathagi perception of the events that lead to your nation’s founding, you have not been able to find one in the multitudes of tomes that clutter the main Athenaeum structures. You’ve probably scanned past scores of Cathagi historical accounts of that time and had no idea because the titles are in a language that remains alien to you.
There are no services such as a transcriber or even a guide for the average man that enters here in search of knowledge, and certainly not any assistance for an unwashed northern barbarian. With the right influence, or the right rank, or perhaps even just the right amount of silver palming the right hands, it’s clear that certain restricted areas would become open to you. A guide to precise sections you are looking for would be granted as a courtesy. And, with the right connections, relevant reading material could be transcribed from the original Cathagi into the Cantonian tongue at your request.
