>>5245195You are right in that AC4, for answer had sparse lore, but the deliberate idea was to invoke that elegiac feeling of mystery (I think the Dark Souls Miyazaki guy directed ForAnswer). The Cradles, the Spirit Of Motherwill etc... it is all a bit Demon's Souls esque (I think in the arena battles there is a mech with an emblem named Reiterpallasch too!)
Playing the game I always felt
Leonemeccanica: Leonardo SpA, Finmeccanica
Rayleonard: Raytheon, US defense prime
Global Armaments: I thought the style of their mechs, tank armour reminded me of General Dynamics, another US defense company, they make tanks.
There are some others, I forget all the analogies. Maybe the Interior Union is like the European Union lol.
AC:V and Verdict Day are fun, but I liked ACIV with the oceans and deserts better versus the grim urban warzone look of V. That said the guns are a lot cooler FOLDING SNIPER CANNONS lol railguns chemical rifle stuff. I also remember there were those ridiculous overweapons or ultimates like the Grind Blade Giga Missile lol, they are very enjoyable.
