"Anyway, feel free to cook that stuff up. Just report it to me and Gerty when you're done so it can be organized, alright?" You said after a beat.
"You're not gonna regret it, Master!" An earnest smile shone on her face. "I'll make sure to make quality future-proof food!" A determined expression began to give her eyes spark in the middle of her elation. "I heard that you're gonna start making some moves against that Rost-child or whatever his face is. So if you wanna make me focus on fighting I'm all for it! I'm gonna be useful for you no matter what, Master!"
"Keep up that enthusiasm and you'll be useful enough for me." You smiled. Seemed like Mel once again guessed what you were doing. Well it wasn't like you were hiding the fact that you were planning to get Catty's dad back.
"Speaking of keeping up enthusiasm," Her gaze now held a lustful look, "Can I?"
"Hmm?" You raised an eyebrow at her request, but ultimately acquiesced with a shrug. "Alright, fine. But only because you've been such a great help lately."
"Yes!" She does a fist pump. "Thank you so much, Master!" Bertha draws closer to you, presses her face against your body, and draws a deep breath— all while muttering about your 'manly scent'.
Bertha could ask for things like this sometimes. A small portion of you worried that you were getting endeared to this side of hers... mostly cause it was sort of cute to see her desire you so badly.
This, and the kiss that followed as your lips happened to touch, were enough to get rid of any tiredness in Bertha.
"Phew," Bertha sighed contentedly, "That was good. You're a real stud, Master~"
"Don't mention it."
"No promises~" She blew you a kiss, gave you a wink, and merrily skipped her way to work.
As simple-minded as your warrioress might be, she had the advantage of being honest about her opinions. There was no 'reading in between the lines' with Bertha; what she said is what she meant, for better or worse.
This usually meant that Bertha would be more brazen about her desires. But, unlike a certain masochistic deity, your Warrior knew when it was appropriate to act upon more carnal wishes.
Not to say that her brutal honesty meant she was open about everything. The subject of why she liked to do housework so much still wasn't truly touched, though you had a few guesses.
