<span class="mu-i">"Hehehe! And then, we had another walloping and I finally managed to knock that big great oaf Yuugi off her feet for once! *hic-cup!*"</span> A short and drunken girl with large horns and rattling chains adorning her body told everyone around, recounting some story from last night.
<span class="mu-i">"Ah, so that was why there was a tremor felt all the way here at half-moon."</span> Reimu sighed with crossed arms.
You must have been in a very deep sleep last night fighting off the urge to dream to have not noticed what they were talking about.
<span class="mu-i">"H-Heyyyy, this must be that Outsider you two were talking about! Hy-uch! Mmm, doesn't look like much to me, what a dishy little guy! Hahaah!"</span> The girl with horns said, rowdily stepping up and poking you in the stomach. You felt yourself get moved back a few feet and almost cough at such a hard poke! Her strength was something else!
<span class="mu-i">"Hey, you wanna try some of my special sake before they fling you back, little man? *Hiccup!*! I can make it even stronger than the stuff they sell in the Village!"</span> The girl offered with drunken intent.
She promptly received a pop on the hand by Reimu, to which she only smiled at before relenting; <span class="mu-i">"Oh no, you know I said you could only do that this festival so long as you brought what I asked for, Suika."</span>
<span class="mu-i">"Alright! Alright! Fine, no need to be so tight! An-nnmd! Mm! I brought em', every single one! Feast your eyes!"</span> This 'Suika' said cheerfully as she turned and reached down towards the steps, dragging up a net that contained a ton of watermelons, there must have been dozens of them!
To that, Reimu's eyes lit up; <span class="mu-i">"Good... with those, I'll be able to rake in plenty of money making those watermelon treats for the festival, just like Rinnosuke taught me. Go set them in the storage, and don't break it while you're at it!"</span>
Festival? You wondered what that was all about. But, you do remember how Reisen mentioned festivals being held at the Hakurei Shrine and that they were, and you quote, 'nice'. Aw man, was that what was going to happen here soon? And you were being sent back, so you'd miss out on it. What a bummer, it sounds like something that'd be cool to attend in this fantasy land.
You rubbed the sore spot on your chest where you received the poke from that drunken dwarf Suika at as you looked over to see the other new figure levitating closer. She wore a blue outfit with a pointed hat that featured the embroidery of the sun, or a star, and she carried a staff with the shape of a crescent moon at the top. Really, she looked sort of like a wizard.
<span class="mu-g">"You'll have to forgive Suika, she's an Oni and only acting like an Oni would after all. I trust she doesn't mean it if she hurts you, she is one of the most powerful Youkai in all of Gensokyo after all. And drunk, very drunk, almost all the time. It has a certain charm to it, you could say."</span>
"Oh, no worries, no offense taken, just a little surprised is all. And you are...?"
