Oh boy, you were too enthralled by the beauty of these two women. You should let them know before something really important is addressed, or else you’ll never have the time and this issue will haunt you like Odetta haunts your phone. That’d be more than you’d like, but not too much to complain about without being a baby. And unlike Jaylene, you’re not a baby. You’re tall, handsome (supposedly), and don’t have a gigantic carrot nose (supposedly?). You’re going to speak up!
“Woah, you’re both really similar! Similarly cute! I was stunned!” You try not to say it like an idiot, but you’re not the judge.
“Tstststs... Matched in beauty, cousin? I’d normally expect to eclipse you.” Misty teases. “But you’ve grown more precious...”
“You’re fresh out of prison and I’m worn out after a long day of work, yet we still managed to take his breath away. Everyone wins.” Kata is more positive in the exchange.
“Except me, who has to hear this.” Odetta deadpans.
“S-She’s joking…!” Jaylene feels the need to clarify.
“Oh, don’t be jealous, darling. You’ll have our undivided attention in a moment. You too are precious...” Kata chuckles.
“S-Sorry, I got distracted.” You apologize.
“I'll live. Get it out of your system, that’s how you work, don’t you?” Odetta feels like she’s getting you. You scratch the back of your head in response.
“And no, Treasure. Your attention was right where it was needed…” Misty winks.
“Since I’m given the chance, I have one more thing to mention.” You’ll take the opportunity. “Hey Kata, before we start, Nina wanted me to bake her some cake, wanna help me out?”
“That greedy girl… I’d love to partner up with you once again, handsome. For her, that Ivanna girl, or whoever is interested. As many times as you’d like.” Kata is looking forward to this. “But remember, it doesn’t replace our promise, okay?”
“Of course, it won’t.” You nod.
“Oh secrets, I’d love to partake in them…” Misty says.
“It’s way easier to uncover them, you’re always one step ahead...” Odetta replies.
“O-Odetta, y-you’ll give them a bad impression...” Jaylene gets anxious.
“Since you brought the cake, Johnny… I remember what you said before about this Ivanna gal, and I don’t believe our delicacy is *truly* at fault. It’s a love letter made of dessert… That adorable girl can’t handle those feelings.” Kata explains her side. “Plenty of people ate it, and none acted like her.”
“Yeah, only her and that girl with weird eyes dropped like bricks.” Odetta recalls because she was there. “Still, I wouldn't eat it.”
“But it’s cake…” Jaylene doesn’t understand. She knows Odetta likes junk food!
