“That is something we could classify as subjective.” TalOS began as he looked at his brother with a speculative eye, “Maybe there is a lack of information on either side, maybe the fact we were raised by two different empires, or likely the fact we employ two different methods. These are reasons that we will never see eye to eye on the subject.”
“That is correct.” Answered the one who employs the shadows.
“As that is the case, it shall be humanity based on my viewpoint.” Answered the Tech Priest as he gave a show of hands, “Surely you have already profiled me and understood my framework of ideas.”
The other Primarch gave a small chuckle as he heard those words, “I have.”
“If you ever feel your framework is false or shaky in any respect I ask that you come to me. That will be the same if there is an issue within the Mechanicum, alert me with who and how you will deal with it.”
“Those are some harsh demands.” Answered the Primarch of the Shadows as he looked upon TalOS with a hint of wonder. He seemed to weigh what was granted to him with measures of both oil and metal in an attempt to balance this out.
It was a hard bargain. In what might be the one and only time he was caught outside his terms the one who did catched him has real power over him. A concept from ancient Terra, the Sword of Decimos, that forever weighs over the head of someone to strike them down. Such a thing was easily equated to this situation.
If he fails in some respect, or TalOS pierces through his veil of secrets, it would mean his death and a forever war between his Legion and the Mechanicum. It ended in a simple equation that TalOS himself forced to be balanced, his life for his secrets or his death so that he can keep them.
Does he think he will ever be caught again? Against the one person who caught him.
And to this conundrum, the man gave a serpentine smile. He looked upon TalOS with his breast swelling in pride. He extended his hand in an act that presented to TalOS not only the hand but the underside of his arm. An Europan jester, to show no sign of treachery. TalOS reached over and took the man by his arm as his fellow did the same.
“I agree with your terms brother. I shall make sure you are the only being in existence who shall be able to make those terms.” He declared as they shook upon those words.
