>>5936137>It looks like we need to get Mikhail and Orin better weapons, armor, and proper shields. We could probably get our breastplate modified for Mikhail and get some basic chainmail and a (properly fitted) helmet for Orin for pretty cheap, and we ought to give our fancy Langlander sword to Mikhail, too. I'd say we should also look into "fancier" polearms for Orin, like a partisan or short billhook. Our old breastplate+helm was already earmarked for Mikhail, just need to fit for him or wait for him to grow into it properly. He also has a proper sword already, not just a training one seeing that he's been in combat with us at our side. It just isnt a castle-forged piece.
Also equipment generally doesnt work in that manner in finding new piecemeal equipment. Like Mikhail finding a pot helm in fallavon was a choice he made with some spare coins with no cost to us and no mechanical benefits.

> The ‘winnings’ as they were, are divided equally between the knights and pilgrims for their efforts. At the end of the day, you’re left with an odd assortment of ill-fitting gear that will allow you to equip Orin in some second-hand gear. Gain Standard Outfit for Hireling. [Hearty]Doubtless the bandits considered themselves wealthy by peasant standards, but to your eye the level of paltry wealth they have accrued for all their misdeeds is pathetic. You have Mikail pick up a few odd pieces of equipment for himself and that new hand of yours, Orin. A tattered gambeson, round shield, spear and pot-helm is hardly the cutting-edge of armaments even for lowly men-at-arms, but it is a darn sight better than a leather tunic and cudgel. The rest holds little interest to you, but you give out instructions that it is to be divided equally among your men with a little held-over for the family of the fallen pilgrim.
