338th Light Horse reports they've hunted down the dismounted outriders. A few of them reached horses and scattered away into the plains, but the formation is effectively destroyed. They're breaking for rest.
789th Light Mist reports they've restored Command Post Fort Forlorn. And found a fourth enemy banner. They're counting securing the Legion command-station as "retaking a vital combat objective", which is banner-worthy, and so they're five for five. Not that anyone is keeping score or anything. It's just that if anyone was keeping score, they'd be winning.
625th Cerco Chemhounds are downcycling and reporting full success. We hold the bridge and no enemy is in attendance.
13th Blue Rats and Ferrata Legio Esmond is reporting safe transport of a Sparkspeaker Theurge to Fort Forlorn aid station. Warded and guarded, Sirs.
248th Ashtenders are reporting that the path up to Fireskellians (actual) command post is a little hard to navigate. They're forming single-file and getting up there, with some water barrels. Once we clear a path through the bridge-span, the secondary supply convoy will arrive there too.
307th Coaldouser reports they've rallied some of their formation, and are otherwise tending to the wounded. They thank Scholae Perennis for his assistance.
Maximus Superbus and the 777th Stormbinders are arriving, with the 338th in tow. Thanks for chasing off that cavalry, though, honest, they had it. They were only otnumbered four to one.
21st Monsoon report they've secured the temple and are disarming the Sparksworn. Victory.
762nd Pyrewatchers have begun reconsecrating the same temple and offering emergency triage to the wounded. Allius swift orders may have saved some lives. They're requesting permission to spend their supplies to shepherd the fallen that need it onward safely, the command station is a *charnel house* [Admin]
404th Soft Moonfall report they've lost contact with the rest of their formation; there's, uh, seventy fast moving Sparksworn outriders between them and their companions. Too much dust to see what's going on down there. Permission to affect a rescue? [Admin]

All across the lines, troops sink to their feet, lean against walls, breathe, paw for canteens and rations, break open water barrels, loosen armor. Victory. Victory!
