“You elf! Stop right there!” One of the three men shouted.
You ran and you could hear their heavy footsteps behind you. Through an alley, cross a street into another. Past some crates and then…
“Dead end!” You shouted out.
“That's right, you have nowhere to go now!” One of the men replied and caught his breath.
You turned to look at them. The men wore mismatched armour, but had the Stormwind tabards covering their cuirasses. Sword, mace and an axe in their hands, the trio stared at you as you took off your hood.
“She's a woman! The squire's a woman!” One with the mace said.
“Such a shame then. Our orders were to catch you alive, but you ran away and we don't like to run. So I guess accidents can happen.” The second with the axe said.
“She resisted.” Third with the sword replied. “After we had our share of fun.”
A cold realisation struck you, they were going to rape and then kill you. What sort of thugs had the King hired?
Opening the rope holding the robe around you, with a clean motion you drew your sword and took a high ready stance.
“She's got a sword!” The maceman said.
“Don't do anything stupid there miss, it'll be over quick.” Axeman said next. “I promise.”
They hadn't moved as if waiting for you to make the first move. The alley wasn't that wide and they couldn’t effectively use their numbers advantage, only one or two could fight you at the same time. But with the dead end behind you, you didn't have much room to use either. You had to press them.
