"So, how is it impactin' me exactly?"
That was her foremost concern. The false probabilities being generated by the Trinity were interfering with her own usage of Luck. Eskart cleared his throat. He had an uneasy look on his face for the information he was about to pass on. There was no telling how Seannsa would take this...
"Your ability to manipulate probability is being clashed against by these waves. In other words... your sphere is being contested by the Trinity's method."
"WHA?!" She blurted, slamming her fist onto the map table and leaning in; "Yew mean they're tryin' tah' REPLACE ME?!"
He knew she wouldn't take this well. He shut his eyes and nodded.
She looked to Muna. "Wait... Yew and Cat already discovered one weakness in me power... won't that work?" She asked. As a possible countermeasure, it was what she thought of first. By simply using a "puppet" or having vector through which to jumble the focus of her Luck...
Muna shook her head however. "It would not work, I believe. If the Trinity is using a machine, a generator to create these waves, then there is no conscious focus to trip. Furthermore, these waves are on a very large scale... it may work on an individual scale, but what's the use? Beyond that, there aren't many Psychics in the world, and definitely not enough to try tripping the effects of these waves. It would be senseless to use the method to survive a single person with good luck from the waves when the Trinity has millions of fighters... and the bad luck waves would impact the puppet regardless."
Seannsa's gaze fell, she had no idea what to even say. The severity of the situation had truly set in. This was not an every day Trinity plot. Not one of their usual foul plays in the field directed against their enemies. This was a crisis, plain and simply.
Something that would affect the entire world.
Her Greymalkins shuddered behind her, fellow deities around the table reading nervousness and even fear behind their eyes.
"...Well...? Are ye' gonna stop it or what?" She asked, as though expecting Muna would prevail over it, as she always did.
They didn't answer. Neither her or Eskart could readily produce a word, so Hale spoke up in their stead.
"We will not be making any moves towards the Capital until we have devised ample means of countering the waves, which as it stands, is seemingly impossible..."
"...Wot?"
"We cannot risk it. Right now, our best soldiers in the field could be slaughtered by the weakest men of the Trinity all because of the waves of good and bad luck being thrown around. There is no action that can be taken right now. It would be a losing game, rigged in their favor."
