Some names I can think of:
"Steel Dragnoons" / "Iron Dragoons"
"Draconic Dragoons" / "Draconith Dragoons"
Though, given the simplistic names of all the other legions "Space Wolves", "Imperial Fists", "White Scars". I'd imagine the name that fits most with the rest would be something simply as "Steel Dragons" or "Dragon Guards"
Dragon Guards is the best one I feel. I have a hope that like the Salamanders, where ever our legion ends up the local PDF and Guardsmen can truly rejoice. We bring supplies, ammunitions, repairs, upgrades, bionics and augmetics for the wounded, and blessed fire support.
It's also a double speak for the way we guard an aspect of our God on Mars
Well, mostly rejoice. There's also the suspicions that we're also there to turn most of them into cyborgs and servitors after they die.
Which is true.
But we'll do it in a way that lets them fight for the Emperor a second time, and in a way that doesn't cause them pain. We can even offer free auto-doc sessions to remove the parts of the mind that feel fear and pain and replace them with implants that direct guardsmen to keep fighting like Tech Thralls do.
