>>5308951The temple of Mielikki - or the 'Evergreen Hall' as this specific one is known - is a serene verdant chamber that prominently displays a great tree surrounded by a tiered garden, which itself is bordered by a pool of tranquil water. On the grasses kneel lay worshippers, mostly human women with an agrestic aura about them, quietly meditating on the precepts of their faith.
Leaning against the tree is a rugged woman in rustic dress, her russet hair deliberately allowed to grow wild. Her muted elven features suggest that she is a half-breed, or at least of partial elven lineage. She sizes you up as as you approach, speaking at you with what is possibly the most irritating provincial accent that has ever assailed your ears, which differs significantly from the one shared by most of the locals.
"Ya must be Sindi?" She asks, continuing before you can offer a reply. "Name's Willow, High Ranger around these parts. Ilanis's been talkin' about'cha a whole lot." You grit your teeth and grumble to yourself. It should have been a given that the girl would gossip, but you've scarcely been in Everlund one entire day. What was there to talk about? "If she says yer all right, 's good 'nuff fer me. Now what cen I do fer ya?"
It is a given that you came here to discuss business and take on the challenge of eradicating the werebeasts infesting Silverwood, the nearby forest. But before that, there was something else you wanted to discuss...
You may choose no more than three.
>What do you think about how the council is handling the werebeast problem?>I'm curious about the goddess. Who is Mielikki, and what is she about?>High Ranger sounds like an important title. Where are all of the other priests?>Pretend for a moment that I want to commune with Mielikki. How would I?>I seek my people. Could you tell me where I can find the followers of Eilistraee?>[Write-in.]
