Sitting with your legs crossed and hands resting on your knees, you close your eyes and let the shadow of the Spirit Stone creep over you. A warm wind brushes through loose strands of your hair in the cool shade of the stone, and you open your eye again to see that the Eye of Sheikah carved into the idol is looking back at you, glowing red.
Then you begin to sink, down into the shadow itself, as if it were quicksand instead of stone you are sat upon, and your vision is filled with white light.
All around you is nothing but a blank, blinding void, a harsh, empty, white light that is all-encompassing and limitless in every direction.
Except for you, yourself. You stand up, looking at your hands, and your feet. You still have your weapon and your robes, but not you bag, and the Keaton Mask that was tied to your waist is missing as well. Looking down, you see that you are casting a small shadow, somehow.
Your eye widens when it stretches out ahead of your and expands in its dimensions. It becomes the silhouette of someone else - a larger man, one with a muscular, athletic frame, wearing robes similar to your own and a similar ponytail. He seems to have both a katana and a wakizashi on his waist, but it is just a shadow. You can't make out any details, or features.
The shadow is not content to remain two dimensional, however, and reaches up, then steps up with a foot, and rises fully from the 'ground' (a surface as white and blank as everything else, indistinguishable from the rest of your surroundings), to stand just five feet across from you with its arms crossed.
