[ THE HALLOWED WALL OF THE WEST ]
Entering the Heavenly Capital was no easy task. It was the single most fortified and heavily guarded established city in the world. The sprawling ecumenopolis was covered by golden walls on every side that stretched into the clouds. A city below Heaven, for the Emperor's Realm of Heaven was merely above it past the firmament. A blessed city that was expanding every day, set to one day consume all of Hainei just as the Trinity wanted.
To bring Heaven to Hainei, this was required. In the very end, all would sit below the Emperor. Not just the Imperial Seat below his realm.
Once one entered the Imperial Seat after passing the Wei's inspections and the Temple's Spiritua tests, not an easy task even for a God to fake enough to get through, one would be welcomed to the unending city of gold.
All of the Imperial Seat was a reflection of Heaven, works built to emulate the Emperor and his shine. When the Sun, a creation of the Emperor's, came up into the day sky, it always passed right over the Heavenly Capital, illuminating all, and when the Moon struck overhead, it reflected the Sun's light into the Imperial World's Seat. No matter if it were day or night, the city shined with a gold luster that could not dull. Unlike all those outside, the Imperial Capital was almost exclusively populated by Immortals. It was the biggest concentration of Immortals in the world of Hainei.
Immortals of all stripes and looks. The city had built well past the clouds, and the tallest structures were the Tower of the Gods overhead, the government's central fortress - It's heart. The Wailing Wall in the East, Lord Akasa's residence, and the headquarters of the Metropolitan Forces and Interior Ministry. And my destination, the Hallowed Wall of the West. The Imperial Temple's core, and Lord Thandir's home.
I came to the startling sight of synagogues and temple-shrines among flowing clouds that breezed by with haste. Golden spires and peaks which painted my view. So great were the Temple's structures, that even whole forests were planted on the rises among the clouds. It was truly a colossal and collective effort to emulate the Emperor and Heaven. Behind it all was the Hallowed Wall itself, in which I saw a vast cosmos of souls. The never ending Soul-Storm of Thandir, through which he administrated the ever running cycle of Reincarnation.
