I suspect he may even try to sanction us like he does Lorgar if he cannot kill us "Stop spreading this ideology!" that will be hugely problematic for us.
However, the other extreme is definitely what we seem to be doing: Know the warp and face it down. Nothing would be more worthy of Talos efforts and a fulfillment of his religion. To use a combination of science, faith, and refusal of ignorance to fight the immaterium and the demonic. And, OOC, we know it can be done because that's exactly what the Necrons, and to a lesser extent the Eldar, do.
Things I can see us trying to do in the future if the cards line up right:

Development of generators both small scale using crystals and shards of blackstone and large scale using powerful stations, perhaps even our own Proto-Pylons. Pretty much what Cawl was able to succesfully do in Plague Wars trilogy by developing his own variant of psyk-out weapons>The usage of the same rituals of incense, holy oils, catechisms and prayers to banish demons "from the blessed machinery of the human brain">Development of specific anti-psyker ranged tech that possibly channels energy through Blank Crystals. The Blackstone Fortress will be a very large example that we may attempt to shrink down>Most of all, just convince our followers that Chaos/The Warp offers nothing of value and prevent as many as we can from falling to it during the schism. There is true science and miracles out there, that rely on no warp. One day we may try to prove that anything Magnus can do, we can do to without the need of psychic powers.SCIENCE AND FAITH!
