Track 1 - Casual Engagement.
https://voca.ro/1gPw4phIMVVOIt was time to talk shop. While you had to rough 'em up a bit the Gamma boys seem to be humouring your interest in conversation. It was a clean victory, so you savour it. "So Anthony and Alexander.... are you brothers? Both of you have the back for the other it seems." The pair laugh, heads thrown back in frightening similarity. Besides the colour of their hair they were both as you assume, handsome young men. Their faces were very symmetrical after all. Alexander gave the other pilot a close inspection. "Is it that easy to tell?" You nod. Anthony spoke next. "For real? We have the same father, different mothers if you couldn't tell. Alex is older than me by a week." Your good intuition made you feel even better. "How was Gamma? Training wise, I heard Eta was pretty tough." Your small trio crept closer, voices dropping low.
It was second nature to be secretive, the training and conditioning made you all that way. Any one who hadn't undergone such training would stand out like a sore thumb. "It was pretty tough I guess.. we did a lot of PT, equipment and neural load training. Some very brief interference runs and mostly conditioning and a lot of weapons training. Rest of the unit dropped out mainly because of PT, I heard they were dropping into lower selection groups." Tony replied. The interior ministry really did make some strange weapons, pilots were the strangest ones of all. "We are Prince prospects by the way... I know, you can bask in our glory as much as you'd like." Holding his hands out Anthony looked up to the heavens and basked on the glory of the lights above.
Boy were they in for a surprise. "So no one died in your group?" The Two boys swooped in the barrier back up, both mouths dropping open."Kids died in Theta? What the fuck Morty." Alex whispered. "By the Empress, what the fuck Morty." Tony added. You raise your hands in defense, they had a worse reaction than you did. "I didn't kill anyone… but I don't think so. Everyone dropped out during meshed interference and other neural trials. I was alone for the last two years." The two pilots digested the words, eyes still on you. "How did you even manage to survive that? We had the entire unit until graduation. Then they were just dropped into other units and we ended up here." You weren't sure how to answer, the silence dragging on. The dino in your pocket called out for your hand. But you refrained. "What are your prospects?" Alex asked, Tony waited on the edge of his seat. "Me and Kat are Emperor Class candidates." Their unmoving faces suggest they had come to that conclusion before asking.
