The first thing that happened was the air around the Xenos shifting for a moment. Quickly they were running across the fields but such speeds did not diswathe them from their abilities. From the cloud of power lightning went forth and carved a bloody claw through the faceplate of the nearest Armiger who was preparing for the counter attack.
After the first strike numerous others were sent towards the loan Armiger and sent him asunder with lightning and fire. It was only a matter of seconds that resulted in the crippling of the Armiger and its death.
After this the maelstrom of power was reaching a climax as the Xenos began throwing out numerous bolts of attack towards the Knights. The next one, another Armiger, was sent ablaze with an unearthly fire that glowed a soft green yet burned white hot. Such a fire not only destroyed the smaller mech but the storm began to carry itself across the battlelines and into the Knights that were standing behind it.
None of the Knights were destroyed like the Armiger, but as the hands of a Xenos Mechn were raised a chassis of a Knight quickly began to rust and decay with a near deathly rate. Before the oculars of Dominus Borgius, he watched as the skeleton of the once Noble Lord of Whalst was turned into a terrified skeleton who barely understood what was happening to him.
Moments after this several Armigers and two Knights who were spared from the early brawl sent themselves in front of Fredric. This was opportuned and life saving as he watched Venterated Knights began to expand like the metal was flesh and implode with devastating power.
He had heard tales among some of the oldest riders. About the times that Ork Weirdbois would attempt to cast their foul magic upon the hulls of a Knight and the attack would rend parts of the armor but nothing more.

Fredric had requested some materials from the Mechanicum as he has time to spare. He wanted to take the chance to learn more and more about his allies. Among those records were the horrifying tales of the Plastoids and how they decimated their planet.
With a thought the Chainsword began to rev as he took a single step forward with righteous anger in his heart. Even if they continued to run now the Xenos would simply run down the Dominus Class Knights. Thus, as their Lord, he would take the front and defend his people.
With that thought Prince Fredric charged forward while quickly being followed by his Knights.
