His body is covered in wounds, perhaps the first time the deity's limits had been tested so. But still he held on, his endurance great and after having been blooded after his first God on God battle he now knew better how to use his muscles to dampen impacts as well as avoid the worse of an attack.
He was about to begin working with the corpse when he remembered something...Oh
Makrópnoos frowned and turned to look in the direction of Harbour,squinting at the goddess and her recently converted Primal, then he replied:
''Apologies stranger, as you can see I was rather busy fighting this Beast and forgot about your presence. I name myself Makrópnoos and I am the Godking of the Humans, as well as a master craftsman.'' He gestured at the corpse he was standing on ''You say you knew this Beast? Then you must know it was quite the fearsome predator. I have sensed dead sparks being extinguished in the area it was in, and saw it devour another divinity shortly after. I felt such a creature needed to be put down before it could grow too powerful and threaten us all from whence I came and so I hunted it to its last breath, it even taunted and goaded me in the act!'' He scratched his beard at the various accusations. ''Terrors of the south? I'm afraid I do not understand quite what you mean, as I have seen nothing quite like the scourge you describe yet unless you mean the great Primal Beasts roaming the lands. Perhaps they are dead, or perhaps those terrors are even further south than where I was? ''
''As for me?'' He looked at the corpse again ''Truth be told I am only here because I was chasing this Red Beast. I was going to harvest its scales and bones, for I cannot simply abandon such a powerful beast's body here to rot. If it is dead, then I might as well do something with it'' He nodded to himself and looked back at Harbour. ''I have no quarrel with you stranger, I simply intend to harvest this one and be on my way. Is there a problem with this?''
