A turret was attacked by the green skinned monsters, and their mass attack was able to deactivate it.
Despite all of this they weren't a problem to deal with. It gave an opportunity for your slaves' to use their guns and for you to practice using the Shellstrike Gauntlets more.
Worryingly, they avoided many attacks and seemed wise enough to try and pick you off one by one. However, thanks to your and Gerty's leadership and tactics, the goblins didn't amount to much more than becoming target practice.
Though you guys got some scrapes, Gerty was able to heal everyone with no issues. You noticed how she didn't even need to touch anyone to use Low Heal, at most just clasping her hands together in prayer. You asked her about this, and it was apparently the most optimal way to use any form Healing Magic.
"Phew," Mel wiped her brow. "That was a close one!"
"You're telling me." Said your Cat as she cleaned the gore off her claws and gauntlets, muttering something about 'those bloody greenskins' afterwards.
You glanced over the carnage that was left from the battle. "Looks like they're getting desperate."
"Well they should be!" Bertha shifted the weight of her hammer, making it rest at her side.
"Master," Gerty looked at you. "Though you've done an excellent job in leading us against the goblins, they are creatures that learn from survival. The more they survive our attacks the stronger they'll be. I believe we should take the time to eliminate them out as soon as we can." She'd mentioned wanting to exterminate them a few times.
"You're well clued up on them, aren't you?" Asked your Cat.
"They've been behind a great many deaths and sufferings when I was a wandering knight." Gerty responded with pained expression. "I've lost good friends to them. They cannot be allowed to reproduce, for their existence is a plague on this world and an affront to the gods." From what you could see, she didn't seem too fond of goblins either. Cattleya looked satisfied with that response.
"I'm sure all the people you've lost are with the gods now." You said. You honestly weren't sure how the afterlife worked in this world, though. Probably reincarnation and some sort of heaven, if you had to guess. Gerty seemed to appreciate the sentiment either way.
Speaking of gods. "Master! Food's ready!" Herta yelled out as she popped out of the airship. "Whoa, what happened out here?!"
"Goblins!" You yell back, loud enough so she could hear.
After you all eat the rest of the girls either patrol, keep watch over the airship, or—in Mel's case—scouted the area.
