You eventually return from your observation of the surrounding rooms. You're starting to get worried— Pulsemon hasn't come back. Your VPN timing is ticking down, and while no alarm has gone off from your mere presence, you don't want to be logged. Over the last twenty minutes, you've been examining the hallways to look for possible threats, or simple points of interest. You've found a strange, high-density server room full of wires and outbound connections. It looks like a hub for the whole wing you're in. You've also come across an active bed, and witnessed the difference in observation equipment.
Unfortunately, said bed was crawling with bots. Seven of them were repairing the numerous bits of broken equipment, and more were on the way. While you glance outside and check your watch, you realize that the room was the one you used Fr1tz in.
<span class="mu-s">"Any sign of him yet?"</span> Phascomon asks.
"No, he's not back yet. It can't have taken THAT long, could it?"
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-b">"He may have run into trouble."</span></span>
You look out into the hallway. Perhaps sending Pulsemon out alone was a mistake. He may be well-versed in navigating the Hospital, but he's not strong enough to face an Ultimate.
"What do we do now?"
"Shh, lemme think."
You weigh your options. If you move out, and Pulsemon is just running late, you'll be risking an encounter with the bots that you've attracted. But if he's in trouble, you'll need to go there as soon as possible. All your prospective plans revolve around your little green ally, what he might be doing at the moment, and whether he's even alive anymore. You can theoretically finish the mission without him, but having him around will make it easier.
>Stay and wait. He may just be delayed by something, you'll risk it and wait out the bots. They should finish repairing the damaged room soon. In the meantime, you can leave your subtle trails for him and move even further way from the current area, so that the threat passes before you do anything else.
>Go find Pulsemon. He's been gone for too long, if there's an emergency, you want to be there for support. You'll need to get past the bots as you head to the Operating Theatre, and it'll pose a new problem.
>Instead of finding Pulsemon, go with your earlier consideration of camping by the Network Exit. If he's run into trouble, he might already be deleted by now. The callous but practical choice is to go to an easily-accessible location that the enemy might soon be using.
