TalOS raised his wrist and once again slaughtered an entire horde of Xenos that were running towards him with a single flick of his technology. Two Dreadnaughts that were standing at either side of the Primarch fired Volkite into the incoming horde of armorless foes. It was a devastating fire which caused many hordes to begin melting from the impacts.
A little ways away, never out of TalOS’s sight, was his brother Mortarion cleanly slicing through another horde of monsters with ease. The crop that his brother reaped of Xenos was clean and perfect with the bodies setting themselves neatly before their butcher for cremation.
TalOS watched as an entire line of the Mutants were turned into plasma fire as a Knight Castellan released a torrent of plasma fire into their ranks. It did not matter how tough these simple lifeforms were when they faced the all mighty triumph of the Machine God’s wrath.
It was then that TalOS heard a mighty scream which carried itself through the battlefield.
It was an inhuman scream which disrupted everything that heard it. It did not matter if it was Astartes, Knights, or even Time itself the scream disrupted it.
TalOS found himself almost taken aback by the sudden even until he realized the pattern within the attack. In the next moment TalOS disengaged his weapons and began to make a series of symbols along with a prayer to the Machine God. That attack was one done through the Motive Force with the distinct purpose of infection.
“The Rangdan Lifeform is at 325, 58.” He was told by Mortarion over their coms link, “We finally cornered them, so they’ve come to fight us. You wanted that Sample did you not?”
“If you can disable it I will find great value in a live sample. I must learn how these Xenoforms produce this corruption so that it can be countered.” TalOS informed Mortarion as the Tech Priest severed the attempts upon his life by this Xenos race.
“Then you will need to be the one to reap it, I won’t keep it alive.” Mortarion informed TalOS as the coms link was severed between the two of them.
“Thank you brother.” TalOS mocked as he continued his trip forward onto the source of the eruptive cry.
