“Not bad. The jacket is a nice touch.” you admitted, running a finger along the fabric.
“Thanks. I think the color suits you.” Ember said.
You glanced up at that.
“I've gotta ask, though. You a Spider-Man fan or something? I could introduce you to him one of these days.”
Ember’s eyes went wide as she gasped sharply and brought her hands up to cover her mouth.
“OHMYGODIWOULD-” was all she could squeak out before realizing what she was doing.
Too late, she cleared her throat and pretended as if she wasn't about to fangirl all over your clone brother.
“Uh, yeah…I guess you could say that I admire his work. Why? Do you…uh, know him?” she asked, her cheeks burning red as she tried to cover her tracks.
You grinned at her. Not that she could see it.
“He's my evil twin.” you answered easily.
Ember frowned at that.
“Saving babies from burning buildings is evil?”
“Don’t let his good looks fool you. He’s a devious one.” you said in a warning tone. Ember didn't look like she was buying it for a second, but her eyes widened as soon as the implication behind what you were saying sank in.
“You know what he looks like without the mask!?”
Black Cat chuckled.
“Careful, Huntsman. You shouldn't bad-mouth the newbie's superhero crush.”
Ember turned to glare at her.
“Do you want your stupid costume or not?”
Black Cat raised her hands in surrender, a close-lipped smile still splitting her face. Araña was snickering at her side.
Despite all this, Ember raised a hand to resummon a cloud of pixels in front of Felicia. A golden outline shone out from her as she did so, and her irises flashed a similar color. You might have to advise her on making a suit that dampened some, if not all of that light. It wouldn’t do to have a thief that literally glowed in the dark
Within seconds, Cat’s costume was finished, and it dropped right into her hands. From what you could see, it was a short-cut leather jacket with a furred collar, and the face of a snarling white tiger on the back. Her pants were made of a similar material, with rings, chains and studded belts wrapped around the waist. The whole ensemble looked to have been split into two pieces, which was a marked deviation from Felicia’s tight, black leather bodysuits.
Felicia nodded approvingly.
“Not bad. Not bad at all~. But…I’m afraid that these jingly bits are gonna make too much noise while I’m skulking around. Can’t have everyone knowing when I’m in the area and up to no good.” Cat explained, tapping one of the chains with a silvered claw.
“I’ve been saying that we should put a bell on you from the beginning.” Prowler added.
That earned a laugh out of all of you. Felicia just rolled her eyes, but you could tell that she wasn’t at all offended by the Prowler’s jibe.
