The fall of rain is what wakes you, through the ripped overhead of the Namadan lord's large tent. A refreshing feeling to your skin after being out of the water for so long now, not that you need it to survive or anything but it always feels better that way. And feeling better is what you need after such a night, and such a headache.
<span class="mu-b">"...fwuuuuaaaagh- what the?"</span>
Groggily you try to sit up, stirring and startling a pair of human women who'd apparently been sleeping with you. Nestled up against your sides, in your arms among what remains of the Namadan lord's makeshift bed. It seems at some point in the night you got tired enough to collapse onto the thing and destroy it under your size and weight, but even then the bedding of it is more comfortable than on the floor or out in the mud.
Where these women came from though, you've no idea.
<span class="mu-b">"Cai-hhhhhh... Cai-liiiiinn!"</span>
Feeling too rotten to be angry or upset, you would at least like an explanation. You call out for your shamaness so that she might explain what these two Gaelan women want; what they're saying in soft tones and why they feel the need to caress you. Well it's not unpleasant at any rate, and you appreciate them sharing food and drink from beside the strewn bedding, but eventually Cailinn answers your call.
<span class="mu-s">"Wh-What is it Tana?"</span>
<span class="mu-b">"These two... uagh, what do they want?"</span>
There's some back and forth between Cailinn and the two women, that you recognize from among your small band of followers. There sounds to be some confusion, until Cailinn starts laughing and the two women withdraw from you in alarm and hastily bow before you in pleading prayer.
<span class="mu-s">"-ahahah, they thought... I suspect most still do, that you're like the old god, the other Tanaloa. Thought you were male, that this would please you after the battle and you would bless them."</span>
<span class="mu-b">"-w-well, tell them! Tell all of them how it is!"</span>
Why do these humans keep mistaking you? You hardly gave it thought at first but now it's starting to annoy you. Their automatic assumption that the evil ravenous huge sea monster brute couldn't be female... they should have seen some of your even more monstrous sisters, back in the day! Well not that it matters too much, you figure it's just another aspect of the false Tanaloa from before, that these humans will have to understand and come to grips with the differences.
