Once the Imperial Navy has secured the system, materiel and personnel flood into the Brohmidae system as convoys of Naval transports funnel in. The reinforcements from Kruun are also shortly to arrive. Giving you the current forces at your disposal:
Available Naval Forces:
>GoR - Chapter Fleet
>Imperial Navy - 1 Orbital Assault Ship; 1 Battleship; 4 Cruisers; 4 Light Cruisers; 10 Escort Squadrons
>SoB - 2 Light Cruisers
Naval Forces committed to convoy defence:
>Imperial Navy - 1 Battlecruiser; 3 Cruisers; 4 Light Cruisers; 10 Escort Squadrons
Vanguard Ground Forces:
>GoR - Entire Chapter minus 2nd and 7th companies
>Raven Guard - 2 Companies
>SoB - 10,000 Battle Sisters
>Nestorum - 10 Legions (~50,000 Skitarii)
Imperial Guard:
Currently around 100 fighting regiments are within the Brohmidae system while another 100 are in transit and 200 are still within Arkbard. 25 more regiments arrive every two weeks. Each Regiment averages ~10,000 personnel.
The vangaurd forces are capable of smashing defences and claiming critical targets with speed and precision, and able to take on many times their own number in enemy forces. However any combat that gets bogged down into attrition or large scales (ie conflict across an entire planet or even just continent) will simply not be winnable without sufficient Imperial Guard support.
Any planet that has a large population willing to put up a fight will need substantial Imperial Guard forces to handle.
You currently have a few primary options
>1. Immediate push into the core worlds with current available strength
>2. Immediate assault towards Serakis or Movrodia, or both at the same time with split forces
>3. Consolidate forces in Brohmidae until more/all Imperial Guard forces can be transported in.
continued.
