TalOS rubbed his temple as irritation slowly crept in behind his eyes. Things were getting nowhere and TalOS had yet to really understand what his brother thought of the Universe. It was easy to see that someone thought the Emperor was a God, many within the Mechanicum have been cursed with such heretical misunderstandings.
But his brother, a Primarch of the Imperial Branch, was saying things that should have been banned within the Imperium. So TalOS needed to take the moment and listen, so that he could understand his brother and administer the coup de grace.
“Lorgar, I see that you are a man with a cemented faith already.” TalOS spoke as he gripped the conversation with both his voice and nullifying radiation, “Explain to me why you think this. Why is the Emperor a God amongst mankind?”
His brother smiled to TalOS which could be described as victorious. TalOS wanted to punch it off his face. Such a desire was unbecoming of TalOS but somehow just seeing the face of his brother was causing deep subconscious desires to flare.
“The Word I speak is that our Father, the Emperor, is the one true God of the Universe.” Lorgar placed his thesis as the first and foremost item beyond all else, “The reasoning for it is rather simple, the might that our Father wields is divine because he shall have the entire Galaxy sundered under his heel.”
“So you think Power is Divine.” TalOS placed forward to crystalize his brother’s thoughts.
“Yes, for unlike your God he holds true power over the Temporal World!” Glee and excitement laced the voice of his brother as Lorgar continued his words, “You know yourself brother the power that our Father commands. Under his authority he can move entire star systems. Where he wills it, the Angels of the Legio Astartes will drop upon a planet to reap a bloody sacrifice in his name. As I have said he commands Demi-Gods, so therefore he is our God.”
“So he is God because his will is Law. And because he is able to establish his presence so profoundly he is Divine.” TalOS confirmed with another hesitation.
“Yes brother, but there are a plethora more reasons for his Divinity.” Lorgar said as he wreaked poisonous excitement, “You have met him in person, the aura our Father holds. A golden light which comes from Horizon to Horizon and cannot be threatened by any Mortal Weapon. Your Cult had witnessed it and that was why they declared him Omnissiah, so why did you deny his Divinity when you first met him upon the desert steppes?”
