“Yes sir.” Jivan says and Nino nods, glad that he won’t be leading an assault.
As the days pass by, your forces start expanding due to an influx of volunteers, with the notable overrepresentation of the Dardi volunteers into your forces. Nino and Jivan are informed to take note about them, while Rani sends her own infiltrators into the group, having a bunch of female priests aesthetically touched up before they head off to attempt to work their way into the Dardi. You also note how Lanu took interest in body-sculpting amongst the priestesses, surpassing even your own masterful bodysculptors with her mere weeks of experience.
You also note how Lanu manages to bring back a small number of mercenaries who died in an assault on Ucht back to life with her patchwork of surgeries, cybernetics and “number” powers.
Before long, your forces are up significantly, as you organize two more regiments of convert disciples from Telan, two regiments Nino dubiously names as “elite” from the Dardi ranks and two volunteer regiments from Ucht, bringing your number of soldiers up to some 8 regiments of men and a large company of mercenaries.
It is also at this time that Nino informs you that you are running out of weaponry to equip new troops with.
Parallel to this, some interesting developments occur as:
Lanu’s mother redirects her forces southwards and manages to push back Sandro’s forces back to Lembak, with both sides suffering significant losses.
Ahvo manages to capture Hei as forces are redirected from the eastern front to the north, particularily towards Yunqi.
And Doyle launches a set of massive mercenary attacks towards Jiangluo, Umpf and Yunqi, failing only in the conquest of the planetary capital.
And, most interesting of all, the police technicians, in control of the externet, turn off the connection to the broader galaxy, isolating this solar system from the galactic information network.
As the council meets yet again, you are presented with a number of opinions:
>It would be stupid not to strike towards Nass as it’s bound to be barely defended>One might make use in assaulting Basah as Lanu’s mother seems to have left it near deserted>We might want to start manufacturing our own second rate weaponry since we are running out of it>Write in
