Those words spoken went throughout the entire ship as Tech Priests of every rank tried to figure out how to open a line of communication. It was quickly understood that the Xenos were in some way a form of psychic species so that likely meant they would communicate with that.
Could they use the Noosphere to communicate? That would likely be a no as Noosphereic communication was not Psychic in nature but instead similar to the Teleportation systems across a variety of the Mechanicum.
Could they by chance use the Psychic crystals? No, they would only result in a risk of contamination.
TalOS watched as these debates went across not only his bridge but the entire fleet in general. Each Tech Priest putting forward suggestions while others would slap them down as either heretical, dangerous, useless, or all three!
For himself TalOS could not think of anything. The best thing he started was doing a series of lights across the hull of the fleet in a green color to signify they were non hostile. If the Xenos understood it as that or an insult TalOS would not know.
As he thought of that a ping went through his head. The Primarch was given a feed of Psychic levels rising in the direction of the Aldari craft with a painful realization.
+Put shields to maximum and prepare for maneuvers!+ TalOS declared as he feared the worst from the warp loving xenos, +We will not be caught off guard!+
As TalOS yelled those words the ship before them began to move. There was a moment’s breath as it looked like it was going to move towards them.
And then it vanished.
Psychic readings were null.
+Arch Dominus, they are gone.+ An Adept said as the sensors went through space, +There are no schemes or attacks, they have slipped back into their Warp-Based travel.+
+They came as soon as they left.+ TalOS said to himself before giving a curse, +Why were they even here then!?+
There was a silence in the room as none could give TalOS an answer.
