"For a subject who's supposedly very friendly and sweet, she sure as hell plays creepy fucking music." Artyom mumbled, as you hoped Annie listened along. In the meantime, you looked in front of you and asked Kenai, Arty and Idalia how far the source of the sound was. "Not sure. But, it's really close. Probably in one of these adjacent rooms..." Artyom responded, to which Kenai and Idalia nodded along. Though after a moment of silence, you heard Annie's voice. "That's Kaenum's music!" She said without even saying hi. You thanked her for the information, as you fully trusted Annie's judgement on the matter. "Sure thing! Go talk with her, Mik! Say hi to her for me!" Thus, you told your men to follow as you led the way closer to the source of the sound. You went further down the dark alleyway, before encounter a lounging area for staff. The place was a bit of a mess, with chairs strewn around the place and shattered plates, utensils and glass littering the floor.
Though right away, you would spot something extremely ominous. Near the back of the lounge was a large round table with an odd lantern on it. It sort of blinded you, you turning off your night vision. Some of your men would do the same, as you'd try and look past the light. "It's her..." Chrys softly whispered, you continuing to listen to the creepy music, it turning a little more sombre, before quieting down with a more gentle and harmonious tone. You'd step forward a little, after which you saw a hand reach out from behind the lamp. It held onto it, as you saw Kaenum step out from the shadows with a relaxed and peaceful smile. "I knew that I was sensing some emotions nearby. I hope that my music did help in soothing you, despite the... darker tones it occasionally took." Your men kept quiet. Though you could tell that most of the previous concerns faded away, your men becoming more relaxed. "My name is Kaenum Solice, codename TO-22. It is a pleasure to meet so many of you here."
You watched her look to her side, before grabbing her instrument from the darkness behind her. It looked to be some kind of violin, yet with some key differences in terms of its shape and design. She'd put the instrument on her back, before putting her hands together. "If there is anything I can do to help you feel further at ease, please let me know. I can imagine some of you may feel a little uneasy meeting me, considering the music I played." She then calmly mentioned, as she appeared very friendly and open to you guys. It was a nice change of pace from encountering insanely aggressive subjects and what not. Perhaps having so many subject friends beside you made her realise right away that you weren't a threat. That, or she was just a natural pacifist. Regardless, you could tell that your girls were eager to ask a dozen questions whilst your men seemed ready to ask for valuable intel...
