The following days involved a flurry of activity.
You were resolved in remodeling the dungeons' interior, installing and overhauling the machinery there, making the drills, clearing out the collapsed areas, and also renovating said rooms according to Ruby's plans. Not to mention the responsibilities you have with your slaves, and any decision-making they needed your input in.
But you'd take this one step at a time. Beginning with the drills.
Thankfully creation something that came naturally thanks to your abilities, skills, and Lunacy Savantae. When finding out that a handful of handheld drills wouldn't be enough to realistically clear everything, it was easy to repurpose a few of them on some clankers. This also had the side-effect of making digging out the areas much quicker.
There were some interesting things between the rubble and the dirt. You'd first find some hostile monsters; slimes and skeletons. Nothing too difficult to handle, but you were surprised they managed to somehow survived the room collapsing on them.
And, again to your surprise, there was some loot to be found. Sadly, not much of it was salvageable.

You considered the nature of dungeons. To your disappointment, they didn't seem to have many (if any) magical properties. Most were simply places were people, mostly Savants, would create to store treasure.
They were rare structures, at least according to the lore Herta knew about. Your four slaves from Riverdale seemed to know something about the nature of these things, with all of them seeing couple defunct ones back in Westphalia.
One thing was made abundantly clear: The golden age of dungeon raiding was long over, ending around the time the North Eastian Confederation became the Eastian Empire. That wasn't to say there weren't dungeons left to explore, just that they were rare to find.
Not all of them were particularly good, and larger ones could easily let out enough trash mobs to overrun a small village. Thanks to you and your harem this was a nonissue.
This particular one beneath the estate seemed dwarfish in nature according to Cattleya. Meanwhile enemy golems that once patrolled the area were identified by Ruby Rose as being ancient technology, created prior to and in the early stages of the Everlasting Empire, likely by a dwarf or human civilization. The skeletons however seemed to be recent additions.
While the clank that was with you on this occasion would've shredded the low-level monsters by now, you weren't gonna waste the opportunity to further practice using Mirror Blade.
Some swipes through the slimes' cores were enough to defeat them, yet the skeletons were more of a pain to deal with despite the reflective abilities the rapier had. You ended up using the rifle Herta made you to deal with them.
Wiping off some slime from your [Custom Special], you recalled how you squeezed in some extra training with Ayane last week...
