Gunfire rained across the battlefield from the Skitarii as the Astartes began advancing with speed that TalOS would give them credit for. As they charged a series of battlements TalOS marked that indeed the precision firing from the Skitarii was admirable.
The Astartes went into the place and a series of attacks could be heard. The Primarch receive updates on the lethality numbers and the efficiency of battle that the Astartes were doing to those inside.
As they were clearing the building the Skitarii started to advance with a spear head consisting of Acillians so that any available retaliation would not get past the wall of walking ceremite. It was indeed efficient when considering that the Skitarii behind the Acillians outnumbered them five to one. That means five more guns per wall of metal that was before them.
A perfect battle strategy.
It was then that TalOS heard a vocal callout from the Astartes inside and then a series of signals from the Noosphere network. TalOS took a moment to glance at UZ1 as she ran among the horde of Skitarii giving out the orders to her armor to move forward.
And that they did, TalOS witnessed as a Knight and two Armigers that were attached to this cohort began advancing towards the location. As they strafe the massive warmachines began firing into the open field ahead of them at targets that normal eyes could not see. What they could see, generated by TalOS, was a series of the Xenos Guardian Constructs that were now being disabled by the Thermal Cannon of the Knight Warrant.
It was a simple scheme but one that gave TalOS a smile. By using the Astarte’s Melee prowess UZ1 was able to clear out a building that was playing host to anti-armor psykers. If those creatures were not dealt with they would have easily taken out at least one Armiger. Now though they did not need to worry about those and could focus on the real targets.
TalOS settled himself within the troop carrier and was carried forward with a single mental command. This was the strike groups training, simply getting elites together so that they could work efficiently together. His trip took the Primarch towards the center of the action, and already on the Noosphere he could detect a series of issues.
He took a moment’s breath as he braced himself for the coming complaints.
